Anita’s Healthy Homemade Style Beef Kafta (baked)
This is a very simple to make Homemade recipe. It’s healthy, tender and juicy meat packed with flavor. Formed by hand like a meatball or log and then char-grilled, on the stove or baked.
Ingredients
1 pound of ground beef
3 Tablespoons curly parsley, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon mint, dried
1 medium size onion, finely diced
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/3 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
1 Tablespoon Ketchup
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 Tablespoon Pomegranate molasses, one for brushing
Preparation
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef with the parsley, onion, dried mint, salt, pepper, garlic powder, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ketchup, one tablespoon of pomegranate molasse, and olive oil.
- Preheat oven to 350 grades Farenheit.
- Line a sheet with foil paper.
- Meanwhile, shape the Kafta into small logs with your hands and place them on the prepared sheet pan.
- Brush each kafta with the left one tablespoon of Pomegranate molasse.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until caramelized and still tender from the inside. Enjoy with a simple salad or rice!
